After completing another add50 I've upped my max to 295 lbs. I looked for some other workouts to tryout and increase my stamina. I came up on this shorter cycle, 3-5 weeks, where you increase weekly using weights you can handle while attempting to increase maximum reps at a given weight. I chose 265 lbs as my target for maximum reps as it's 90% of my 1 rm. Ultimately, I want to complete 5 reps at 275 lbs which will indicate the ability to 1 rm 315 lbs. Plus, with breaks in school, shorter cycles fit into the schedule. Hopefully this effort will payoff with increase in stamina and strength.
